Camping at VIR is permitted during all spectator events and during club events where the club has made advance arrangements with VIR. Campers will be charged $35 per event for tents and $50 per event for RVs (AMA weekend higher).  Participants during club events that are not camping that require electricity during an event will be charged $25 per event (available on first-come, first-served basis). By mid-April 2008, VIR will have 9 premium RV camping sites in the paddock near the false grid (with water, sewer and electric hookups). Rates vary by weekend and the premium sites can be reserved in advance through the Lodging office.
