VIR has partnered with the Golf Car Company for cart rental during the 3 major events of the 2008 season:

• Bosch Engineering 250 Grand-Am Rolex Series (April 25-27, 2008),
• AMA Superbike Championship / Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals (August 15-17, 2008), and
• GT Live / KONI Challenge (October 3-5, 2008).

Golf Car Company Cart Rental Pricing for Major Events:

• Rear Seat & Utility Box Cars:  $100 for first day; $75 each day thereafter, plus 5% sales tax.
• Six-Passenger Shuttles & Workhorse Utility Vehicles:  $125 for first day; $100 each day thereafter, plus 5% sales tax.

FOR ALL OTHER EVENTS, VIR has golf carts available to rent to the general public on a first come, first served basis.  VIR's cost to rent a golf cart is $75 for the first day, and $50 each day thereafter, plus 5% sales tax.  No Off-Road Vehicle Registration Fee is required on VIR or Golf Car Company rentals.

You can reserve a golf cart by clicking on the link below, printing the Golf Cart Rental Agreement, and faxing the completed form to VIR at 434-822-8033.   Golf cart reservations can be cancelled with a full refund up to 14 days prior to the first rental day.  If not cancelled 14 days prior to the first rental day, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.

Using Your Own Golf Cart or Off-Road Vehicle at VIR 

If you wish to bring your own golf cart or other off-road vehicle to the facility, VIR now requires that all golf carts, pit and other unlicensed off-road vehicles that leave the paddock maintain a valid VIR credential displayed on the vehicle and a registration agreement on file with the VIR office. If you are a spectator bringing this kind of vehicle to VIR, or a competitor that wishes to leave the paddock, you will receive your Off-Road Vehicle Pass once the form is completed and you have paid the Off-Road Vehicle License Fee.
